1. About the Service

GasMap (“the Service”) is a free, community-driven service operated by GasMap that aggregates and displays real-time gasoline price information from public sources and user submissions across Japan.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

3. Price Information

Prices displayed on the Service are reference information aggregated from user submissions and public sources. They may differ from actual store prices. Please always confirm at the pump before fueling. GasMap is not responsible for any loss caused by reliance on price information shown.

4. User Submissions

When you submit prices, photographs, or any other content, you grant GasMap a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that content within the Service. You must not submit false information, copyrighted content you do not own, or content that violates any law.

5. Prohibited Conduct

• Submitting false price information, intentionally or repeatedly
• Automated scraping, mass requests, or other actions that interfere with the Service
• Defaming individuals, stations, brands, or other third parties
• Any other act that GasMap reasonably deems inappropriate

6. Service Changes and Termination

GasMap may modify, suspend, or terminate any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without any warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GasMap disclaims all liability for any damages arising from the use of the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
