How to Delete Your Account

1. Delete from inside the app (recommended)

1. Open the GasMap app on iOS or Android.
2. Tap the “My Page” tab at the bottom.
3. Choose “Account Settings” → “Delete Account”.
4. Confirm to start deletion immediately.

After deletion you can no longer sign in with the deleted account.

2. Request by email (alternative)

If you cannot open the app, contact us from your registered email address. After identity verification we delete your account within 3 business days.

3. Data we delete

• Profile (display name, email, avatar, bio)
• Favorite stations
• Price alerts
• Vehicles and notification settings
• Push notification tokens
• Subscription (auto-renewal is stopped)

4. Data we anonymize and retain

The following items are retained in anonymized form so service-wide statistics remain accurate.

• Past price submissions (the submitter identifier is removed; only the price remains)
• Past price board photos (only those previously approved for public display)

These cannot be traced back to any specific user. Contact us by email if you require complete removal.

5. Retention periods

• Personally identifiable data: completely deleted within 30 days of the request.
• Audit logs for fraud investigation: retained for 90 days, then automatically purged.
• Transaction records required by law (e.g. billing): retained for the period required by relevant statutes.
